Who are we?

We are Alison and Stephen and we are wedding photography specialists photographing weddings and civil partnerships with our distinctive style across the UK. Our combined approach with our different perspectives results in spontaneous, relaxed and unobtrusive wedding photography that captures the essence of your wedding day. Our clients often comment on how little they noticed us during a wedding day!

We produce a selection of high quality bookbound wedding albums which have a large variety of options so your album can look classic or contemporary. Each album is individually designed by Alison Purvis-Gisborne to tell the story of your wedding day. We can also provide parents' albums and framed prints.

Our website is packed full of a variety of featured weddings from a wide selection of venues across the UK. If you are at a distance from our Derbyshire base in the East Midlands, don't worry, we photograph weddings all over the UK. Just get in touch and we can talk more. Don't forget about our blog, we keep it regularly updated with photographs from recent weddings, pre-ceremony shoots and other bits and pieces. You can see all the different places we have been to and get to know us a little better before your wedding. We photograph a limited number of weddings each year and our services are always over-subscribed. Fill in our contact form to find out if your date is still available and to recieve more information. Where are we?

We're based close to the Derbyshire / South Yorkshire border in the East Midlands of England. We are halfway between Sheffield and Chesterfield. Our all inclusive pricing already includes our travel expenses from our base in Derbyshire to anywhere within the mainland UK. There are no hidden charges. Each wedding / civil partnership photography coverage includes the services of 2 photographers (Alison and Stephen), a presentation DVD of all the images we take, online viewing for a minimum of 6 weeks following your return from your honeymoon and a bespoke and custom designed wedding album. We enjoy visiting new wedding ceremony venues and new wedding / civil partnershop locations and we are happy to travel all over the UK!
