Church Wedding Ceremony at St Mary's Church, Moseley, Birmingham followed by a reception at Hotel du Vin, Birmingham.

The day of Charlotte and Christopher's wedding began with a light dusting of snow and then bright sunshine! We started our coverage of their wedding with photographs of Charlotte while she was getting ready at home. The ceremony was lovely and was conducted by the most friendly and cheerful lady vicar. Stephen and I were made to feel very welcome and we were able to photograph all the special moments as Charlotte and Chris exchanged their marriage vows.

The reception was held at the rather stylish Hotel Du Vin in Birmingham city centre. Guests arrived at the “Bubble Lounge” to the sounds of classical guitar and the aroma of mulled wine. A very nice welcome after being out in the cold!

While Stephen and I are documentary specialists, we do realise that everyone wants a “mantlepiece” shot and some romantic photographs of just the two of them in their best clobber on their special day. So we took Charlotte and Christopher aside for 5 minutes to get a few portraits of them.

So congratulations to Charlotte and Christopher!
