To show the wide variety of wedding locations we have featured on our website, we've listed our favourite venues here by where the wedding or wedding reception took place. We photograph weddings all over the UK but the majority of our work is from the East and West Midlands areas in the counties of Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Northmaptonshire, West Midlands and Yorkshire. Baslow Hall, Baslow near Bakewell, Derbyshire
Rachel and Nicholas had a lovely relaxed summer civil wedding ceremony and reception at Fischer's Baslow Hall in 2005. They had exclusive use of the venue from the morning right through until the end of the evening. Baslow hall is a personal favourite of ours as we married here ourselves in the summer of 2003! Baslow Hall is a Michelin starred restaurant, ideal for smaller and more intimate weddings of up to 40 guests.
Bolsover Castle, Bolsover near Chesterfield, Derbyshire
Katy and Chris married at Bolsover Castle in the village of Bolsover near to Chesterfield in Derbyshire. Bolsover is positioned on a hilltop with panoramic views across the Vale of Scarsdale and the beautiful Derbyshire countryside. The ceremony and wedding breakfast were held in the indoor Riding House where William, Duke of Newcastle once trained horses to move in ballet like moves.
Botanical Gardens and St Chad's Cathedral, Birmingham
Raffaela and Jack married at the stunning St Chad's Cathedral in the centre of Birmingham and it really is something special! The colours inside the cathedral are wonderful golden tones which gave a really warm feeling to Raffaela and Jack's wedding. Their reception was held at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens which are an excellent setting with the greenhouses and unsual plants.
Brooksby Hall, Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire
Jane and Tony married at St Michael's Church in Diseworth near Derby in Derbyshire. Jane is in the RAF and Tony is in the Marines, so it was a thoroughly military affair with a guard of honour on their departure from Church. The reception was at Brooksby Hall near Melton Mowbray.
Callow Hall, Ashbourne, Derbyshire
Kate and Drew married at All Saints Church in the village of Brailsford between Derby and Ashbourne in Derbyshire. The reception was at Callow Hall which is located close to the town of Ashbourne in Derbyshire.
Crewe Hall, Crewe, Cheshire
Dina and Rakesh had their civil wedding a week after their Indian Hindu wedding celebrations. Crewe Hall is an impressive setting with stunning interiors, exteriors and gardens.
Doddington Hall, Lincoln, Lincolnshire
Chris and Stacey married at a civil ceremony inside the long gallery at Doddington Hall. Doddington is an exclusive venue that limit the number of weddings they have each year.
Eastnor Castle, Ledbury, Herefordshire
Victoria and Calvin had an intimate wedding at St John the Baptist church in the village of Eastnor near Ledbury in Herefordshire. The wedding breakfast reception was at the gorgeous Eastnor Castle and the bride and groom had exclusive use of the castle and it's beautiful battlements and gardens.
Hambleton Hall, Oakham, Rutland, Leicestershire

Cathy and Matthew had an elegant spring wedding at the wonderful Harlaxton Manor near the town of Grantham in Lincolnshire. The wedding was in the spectacular great hall.
Hassop Hall Hotel, Bakewell, Derbyshire
Megan and Daniel had an elegant summer wedding in the Peak District at Hassop Hall Hotel near the town of Bakewell in Derbyshire. The wedding was in the grandiose ballroom and guests enjoyed Pimms on the lawn entertained by live piano music. The cake was not a cake, but a stack of cheese rounds! Donna and Mark married at Kelham hall on the edge of Newark in Nottinghamshire. Donna arrived in style in a stetch limo.
Kenwood House, Sheffield Mariott Hotel, Sheffield, South Yorkshire
Karen and Nick has a relaxed information civil wedding at the Drawing Room in Kenwood House, Sheffield Marriott Hotel in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. Karen wore a fabulous red dress and even more fabulous red ribboned shoes!
Kilworth House, North Kilworth, Leicestershire
Nina-Claire and David had a quintessential British wedding in the summer of 2005. The wedding photography coverage was for 12 hours, beginning at Kilworth House Hotel for bridal preprations, taking a double-decker bus ride with the boys, the ceremony at North Kilworth Church and returning back to Kilworth House Hotel for the reception! Nina-Claire and David had exclusive use of the hotel and it's beautiful terrace and gardens.
The Lanesborough Hotel, Hyde Park Corner, London
Angelika and Elise had their intimate civil partnership ceremony at the exclusive St Regis Lanesborough Hotel at Hyde Park Corner in London. We began the coverage of their ceremony as guests arrived until the end of the speeches. An entirely indoor ceremony and reception, the photographs show that you don't need gardens to have a gorgeous day!
Leamington Royal Pump Rooms, West Midlands
Diane and Matthew married at All Saints Church in the centre of Leamington with a reception at the Leamington Royal Pump Rooms. The church is extraordinary and the large stained glass window is beautiful.
Le Manoir Aux Quat'Saisons, Oxford, Oxfordshire
Elizabeth and Keith had a civil wedding at Le Manoir Aux Quat'Saisons near Oxford, followed by a church blessing at the church next door. Le Manoir is Raymond Blanc's celebrated restaurant and the food was really something special!
New Hall, Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands
New Hall is a special venue with a moat and a turret! Emma and Stephen had an informal summer civil wedding at the hall. Emma wore a gorgeous burgandy gown.
Prestwold Hall, Loughborough, Leicestershire
Hannah and Lloyd had a civil wedding ceremony at Prestwold Hall near Loughborough in Leicestershire. Prestwold Hall is set in acres of gardens and is really beautiful inside.
The Priest House on the River, Castle Donnington, Derbyshire
Nadine and Richard married at Melbourne Parish Church and then went to The Priest House on the River near Castle Donnington for their reception. The venue really is close to the river and the wedding party got to relax on the riverside drinking Pimms!
Renishaw Hall, Eckington, Derbyshire
Jane and David married at a civil wedding ceremony in the grand surroundings of Renishaw Hall and Gardens. The ceremony was in the library inside the Hall, a drinks reception on the lawns and a wedding breakfast inside a large marquee..
Rockingham Castle, Leicestershire
Emma and Chris travelled back home from Singapore to marry at a civil ceremony at Rockingham Castle near Market Harborough in Leicestershire.
Rowton Castle, Shrewsbury, Shropshire
Rachel and Spencer married at a lovely little church outside of Peplow and had their wedding reception at Rowton Castle. The day ended with a bang with a fireworks display.
Rudding Park, Harrogate, North Yorkshire
We experienced our first Humanist ceremony at Rudding Park near Harrogate. The words that Emma and Andrew chose with their Humanist Celebrant were beautiful and the chapel at Rudding Park was a lovely venue for the ceremony.
The Star Inn at Harome, nr Helmsley, North Yorkshire
Ruth and Paul were married at St Olave's Church, Marygate, York, North Yorkshire with a reception at The Star Inn, Harome, North Yorkshire. The Star Inn is renown for it’s delicious food and it really was gorgeous.
Strawberry Hill, Twickenham, London.
Sarah-Jane and Chris had their reception at Horace Walpole's house, Strawberry Hill, in Twickenham, London. The house is currently part of St Mary's College and was featured on the BBC's Restoration series in 2004 and is considered to be one of the finest examples of Georgian Gothic architecture and interior decoration. Sarah-Jane and Chris' wedding photographs were featured as a 'Real Life Wedding' in the May 2005 issue of Wedding Ideas Magazine.
Tissington Hall, Ashbourne, Derbyshire
Kim and Peter had a relaxed civil wedding at Tissington Hall near Ashbourne in Derbyshire with a wedding breakfast also at Tissington Hall.
Wentworth Castle Gardens
Amanda and Steve married in the the Long Barn upstairs at Home Farm in Wentworth Castle Gardens. It’s a lovely venue, really light with interesting architectural features too. The gardens are extensive and wrap around the castle itself. Even on a wintery March day the gardens looked fabulous.
Whirlowbrook Hall, Sheffield, South Yorkshire
Sarah and Rob married at St John’s Ranmoor Church in Sheffield. They had their reception at Whirlowbook Hall, also in Sheffield. Rob and Sarah obviously enjoyed their day a great deal, it was such a pleasure for us to photograph them!
Wadenhoe House, Peterborough
Jayne and Chris married at Wadenhoe House near Peterborough in January of 2007. The weather was cool and crisp but with bright sunshine.
Whitley Hall, Sheffield, South Yorkshire
Alex and Stephen married at Whitley Hall Country House Hotel in the summer of 2006. They had a civil ceremony at Whitley Hall and made the most of the sunshine with a drinks reception in the gardens.
